The Diploma of Maritime and Logistics Management prepares students for management careers in private enterprise, industry organisations and government in the areas of commercial shipping, ports and terminals, transport, transport policy and administration, freight forwarding as well as exporting and importing and other elements of international business.
Students are required to complete eight compulsory units including: International Business Communication, Introduction to the Maritime Industry, Financial Resource Management, Exporting and Importing, Ship Operations Management, Business and Transport Law, International Transport Systems and Air Freight Transport.
A number of other NSS supervisors/managers are due to complete their studies within the next 12 months. External study forms a vital part of NSS's strategy to ensure our team remains abreast of the latest developments in the Maritime and Logistics Industries.
