Dugald River delivers for MMG
MMG this week announced its third quarter 2018 results from across the company’s operations, producing 121,926 tonnes of copper and 57,595 tonnes of zinc.
“The Dugald River ramp up continues to track ahead of schedule, with mining and milling rates at 100 per cent and 112 per cent of nameplate capacity during the third quarter,” chief executive officer Geoffrey Gao said.
MMG’s 2018 production guidance for Dugald River has been upgraded to 140,000 to 150,000 tonnes of zinc in concentrate (from 120,000 to 140,000 tonnes previously).
The mine and processing plant, 65km north-west of Cloncurry, came online late last year.
